Possession Claims
If you are in danger of losing your home we may be able to help you. We can assist in all types of possession claims including those involving rent or mortgage arrears or other tenancy problems.
Anti-Social Behaviour
We represent tenants who are facing allegations of anti-social behaviour in injunction, asbo, demotion and possession proceedings.
Disrepair
If your home is affected by disrepair and your landlord has not dealt with the problems within a reasonable period of time we can help you get the repairs done and claim compensation.
Unlawful Eviction/Harassment
If you are a tenant and your landlord has evicted you without obtaining a court order we may be able to help you return to your home and claim compensation. We can also take action against landlords who are threatening to evict you or are harassing you.
Homelessness
If you are homeless or are about to become homeless we can advise you about your rights to assistance and housing from the council. If the council have refused to help we can assist in requesting a review or appealing against their decision.
Applying for Council Housing or Housing Association Property
If you have applied for housing or a transfer and are concerned abour how your application is being handled we can provide advice about your rights and the ways you may be able to increase your chances of obtaining accommodation.
Owner Occupiers
We advise on disputes between joint owners, and land ownership and boundary disputes.
Housing for People from Abroad
If you are an asylum seeker or subject to immigration control and in housing need we can provide advice about how you may be able to obtain housing and support.
