The firm was founded in 1991 by Jon Comyn-Platt and Danny Halpern, who met at South Manchester Law Centre.
The firm is committed to providing the highest quality service to all our clients, and, in particular, to clients on low incomes and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We have 3 offices: Rusholme, Oldham and Wythenshawe.
Our areas of specialism are: Crime, Family and Child Care, Housing, Personal Injury, Actions Against Police and Prison Law.
We are committed to legal aid work. This means that we will always provide our services under the legal aid scheme, if it is available to you.
Our service is the same, whether you are receiving legal aid or paying privately. We believe that you will not find better legal representation anywhere for your legal problems, and we will give the best value for money if you are not eligible for public funding. At your first meeting we will tell you how we calculate our charges. Whenever possible we will give you a detailed breakdown of the estimated total costs.
